Our Mission
The Women’s Network -(TWN) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, changing the lives of women who are survivors of trauma or disadvantaged women by providing programs that elevate their economic security and personal wellbeing through job readiness and work retention program that help women thrive in work and in life.
Our Vision
We believe women have the power to transform their life through employment. We help women learn skills to be self-sufficient and to find their voice and purpose. We give women the opportunities that will increase their earning power, pay taxes, and contribute in a positive way for their families and the community.
Programs Offered
The Women’s Network (TWN) has two programs and is developing a third program designed to assist women who need employment assistance. These programs include: 1) Domestic Violence Employment Program, 2) Dress For Success Wichita, and 3) planning for Getting Ahead in the Workplace.
The Domestic Violence Employment Program provides short-term, transitional employment (up to nine months) and healing support for women who have survived a domestic violence relationship. Dress For Success Wichita empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. In development is Getting Ahead in the Workplace, a 16-week course for low-resourced women designed to teach the hidden rules of work while increasing knowledge about finances, community resources, and overall work environment. TWN in also researching the Employer Resource Network concept.

Meet the Staff
Amber Beck - Executive Director
Graduating with a Bachelors in Business Administration and Marketing with a minor in Management from Wichita State University, Amber found her calling in the nonprofit world. She was recruited by the formerly known Wichita Women’s Initiative Network (now The Women’s Network) back in 2017 to be their account manager. In 2019, she was promoted to WIN interim Executive Director and by January 2020 she was promoted to Executive Director. Amber has grown the graduating participants numbers in the WIN program substantially as well as securing many manufacturing partnerships for the program.
Kirstin Perez, LMSW - Program Director
As Program Director for The Women’s Network, Kirstin oversees several aspects of both the Transitional Employment Program and Dress for Success Wichita. Kirstin has attained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Social Work degree from Wichita State University. These aspects includes but are not limited to program development and client therapy. Kirstin found her passion for the organization in 2018 when she started as an intern and since then, as filled several different roles within the agency.
Martha Mulnix - Project Manager
Martha oversees a variety of areas for both Dress for Success and the Transitional Employment Program as The Network’s Project Manager. With a background in business management ranging from small, family-owned to multimillion-dollar companies, she has over eight years of management experience. Martha’s personal experience fuels her passion for the mission of the organization and has been a part of the team since December 2020.
Brittany Vuu - Administrative Assistant
As The Women’s Network’s most recent addition, Brittany handles social media and marketing direction while assisting any staff needs. Graduating with her Associates in Business Administration, Marketing and Entrepreneurship, Brittany found her passion in nonprofit.
