The Women’s Network, located in Wichita, Kansas is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization empowering women survivor of domestic violence, women recovering from trauma, and women working for better lives. While others provide crisis care, we offer paths toward financial and emotional independence for long-term transformation and success, including: a domestic violence recovery program, education and employment opportunities, therapy and case management services, and a full-time employment program.
The Women’s Network is also home to Dress for Success Wichita, providing career assistance and attire to help women thrive in work and life. Originally known as the Women’s Initiative Network, founded in 1997 by Newman University faculty members Sister Glenda Reimer (a member of the Sisters of Charity) and Sister Susan Reeves (a member of the Adorers of the Blood of Christ) help domestic abuse survivors escape the cycle of financial dependence.
