About Our Programs

Path to Strength: Domestic Violence Recovery

Our Transitional Employment Program

Our program is designed to support women who are survivors of domestic violence, who are out of crisis and transitioning into new patterns and opportunities. When hired, the women will enter the role of production assistant and work on projects with our manufacturing partners. The five-seven month, 28-hour work week program offers part-time employment, case management, therapy and counseling, credit counseling, enrichment and education, and emotional support. After graduating, they will enter an entry-level career building job.

While at the Women’s Network, every woman takes part in over 60 hours of classroom work. Core classes include financial literacy, trauma support group, sobriety and recovery group, nutrition classes, self-care classes and the getting ahead program.

Women in the program will receive over 30 hours of career services, assistance and training. Job mentoring, cover letter and resume writing, mock interviews and career assessment are included in the program.
